We, the undersigned, respectfully demand of the administration at NYU that they reinstate Professor Robert Bohn. While we recognize the need for certain cuts based upon financial realities, to deprive the students - and the school - of the particular type of teaching, didactic, experience, and education which Professor Bohn provided is unconscionable and unfair to the student body. We ask the administration to reconsider their decision making as it bespeaks the thought process of using a shotgun instead of a scalpel, Professor Bohn's willingness and ability to provide us with his extraordinary time and experience, and to bring in guest professionals who connect theory with reality, the experience with the experiential, may be unique among educators, and is certainly a model for the definition of an outstanding class run by a first-class educator at a world-class school. Professor Bohn's reinstatement must take the highest priority the administration can muster. We, the students, whom you ultimately serve (even if our tuition is paid in part by financial aid or our parents), are letting you know of our commitment to have Professor Bohn return to teaching at NYU.
