I know that my Nelson County Board of Supervisors will petition FERC to conduct a PEIS of the four proposed pipelines in Virginia. We will protect our natural resources, especially our water. Thank You for doing the right thing !

Please file a PEIS with FERC. They need to be more responsible towards our environment, our waterways and private property. This flagrant destruction of our forests for private gain is unacceptable. Causing extreme destruction to the entrance of Wintergreen is unacceptable. The absolute ruin of my property and bankruptcy from the devaluation of my home is completely unjust. A billion dollar corporation can afford to do the right thing and use utility right of ways, co-locate pipelines, and repair and enlarge outdated pipelines.

Please advocate that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) conduct a single, comprehensive regional review of all four interstate natural gas pipeline projects currently proposed. It makes sense. It's the right thing to do.

"It is the mission of the Board of Supervisors to maintain Nelson County as a BEAUTIFUL, SAFE, HEALTHY and PROSPEROUS RURAL COUNTY..." the first paragraph of the Board of Supervisors mission statement gives you all UNQUESTIONABLE justification for petitioning FERC for a single Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement. The ACP would negatively affect all of these aspects of life in Nelson County, so I feel you are bound by the mission of the BoS to request a PEIS. Thank you.

Dominion could care less about destroying our beautiful landscape or polluting our water or damaging Eco systems along the pipeline's path...Or the fact that pipelines leak, rupture and explode. What they care about is money and there IS money for Dominion if they make the stand to invest in CLEAN energy that does not support fracking. Our land is a gift to be nurtured and respected! Anyone who supports the pipeline supports fracking which steals life,millions of gallons of water, contaminates air & water, and basically rapes the earth by drilling where it is intended to be at peace. FERC and Dominion need to stand up and make strong honest choices for our future. After all, We cannot drink gas.

I'm not a resident of Nelson but of neighboring Waynesboro. However, I shop at the Nelson farmers market all summer as well as frequently patron the many breweries down route 151. I feel like a huge draw for myself and many others to Nelson is the pristine environment and scenic views. It goes without saying that tourism is real money and real jobs. Dominion makes a lot of promises about jobs, but it is uncertain what it will actual deliver long term. What is certain, is that the environment and by extension tourism in Nelson will be negatively impacted by this pipeline.

As a Nelson County landowner since 1970 - I care deeply about this county, it's beauty, its people, its economy - I strongly urge you to protect our property rights, our community heritage and our land by demanding a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline.

Please, please demand this study. Do we.really need 4 pipeliness? Will any of them do more good than harm? Why won't they co - locate?? When the pipeline e route was going g through our farm, I asked a Dominion rep why couldn't it be located along the high power lines we already have going through our farm? The answer I got was.that "we", meaning Dominion do t get along with the electric company. Is that any kind of a thoughtful or relevant response? I don't think Dominion will do what is right by us, without very close oversight, vigilence and pushing from us.
