I am fed up with the cost of my car parking being more than my flights and in some cases my whole holiday. Belfast City Airport have an unfair monopoly and you have to drive round and round for ages looking for spaces. We need Boal!

if the airport charged reasonable fee for parking they could not object to healthy competition. Restriction of competition only hurts the public and strengthens the airports monopoly, resulting in unregulated and exorbadant prices.

Totally ridiculous decision by the planners. What harm has Boal car park done to anybody. Ikea obviously don't need the space for themselves. Indeed the absence of Boals and the income therefrom could precipitate the departure of Ikea with a consequent loss of jobs. Instead passengers who are inconvenienced by poor hips, hearts and other afflictions now face a half mile trudge with luggage, frequently in the rain. Boal Car Park was a godsend...Friendly, inexpensive and convenient. Now to be eradicated by an operation which is none of those things.

Boal Car Park at IKEA is an excellent service to the public, using readily available local resources to prevent exploitation of consumers by the abuse of a monopoly position at Belfast City Airport. Planning committee please give people an option not to be ripped off.

Both Airports in Northern Ireland charge far too much for unsecure parking and it is holding back the economy , why discriminate against a private company offering a better service and utilising a car park that is not used by IKEA -Stupid or what .

I use Boal parking regularly and this saves me on average £15 per trip!!
Boal is a fantastic service.
