Good old Northern Ireland politicians , aren't they just priceless. Nowhere else in the world would you have politicians closing down a locally owned company in favour of a company controlled by foreign shareholders. We probably pay for them to park at the City Airport for their worldwide trips via our taxes as it would inconvenience them to spend an extra 5 mins travelling to the airport at half the price.

How can this decision be logical when they are actually based in a car park. This would appear to be a political decision so that belfast council will get maximum return from their car park if there is no competition

We need competition to keep the cost of parking down. It is unfair for one company to have all the benefits

Belfast City Airport cost for Mon-Fri parking in September 2010 £35.95.
Cost for same in July 2015 £49.95.
An increase of over 33% and there has been competition for the last 4 years.
Local politicians are totally out of touch.
Boal Airport Parking has to stay open for the benefit of consumers.

Absolute disgrace that they are closing this car park. I will certainly be 'disadvantaged' by it's closure and I'm sure I'm not the only one! Who can afford to pay the ridiculous rices of the Airport's car park... oh yeah, Mark Durkan can since he puts it on his tax payer funded expenses (currently at £40,598.45 per annum - more than my husband and I jointly make in a year). Sickening.
