It is in the public interest that travellers using Belfast City Airporthave choice and that competitiveness is encouraged to help our economy.bOAL parking is essential and it is wrong not to allow private businesses in NI opportunities to offer people the alternative.

Totally ridiculous. Parking at BHD is overpriced and competition is very overdue. Thought it would be welcomed rather than scorned

Planning needs to take a good look at itself on this one and where our the local politians who are supposed to be fighting for the people. Eight jobs gone..eight families facing hardship because of some idiots around a boardroom table want to have all the cake and our legislative framework agrees. All too often at the stroke of a pen decisions are made and this is when we need to see accountability and common sense to realise that this decision is not based upon the public interest but indeed the sole interest of profit, greed and maintaining a monopoly on parking by BCA. Once again our Politians let the people down.

This is a great and competitive service, it should remain open.

This is the only thing that will help reduce the rip off parking prices at the airport. Please keep it open in the interest of all Belfast travellers.

The City Airport already charges £29 for 2 days parking - what will this go up to if Boal is forced to close and they have no competition?
