Croydon Council finally gave us the green light for the Norbury Park BMX track. We forced them to listen and now we get the facility our community deserves. Keep a close eye on the construction phase to ensure they actually follow through on their promises.
Croydon Council is still dragging their feet while our neighborhood kids have nowhere to ride. I am busy pushing the planning committee for a concrete answer because their silence is just another way to ignore us.

Yes Please. Think it's a great idea. We need to provide activities like this so the kids have some where to go and get active, socialise and be kids. Have visited many other tracks and no signs of Gangs there. Need to be positive, otherwise what's the alternative? Kids stay in there bedrooms becoming unsociable not able to interact and become obese and very unhappy. Bring it on.

What about us 45yr old women, we BMX as well you know!!! A great opportunity to create an inclusive cycling experience for all ages, BMX bikes and trikes, especially if it includes a flat tarmac practice / warm up area where all cycles can be used. Check out Bugress Park BMX track and warm up area, plsu large tarmac space for events and cycle training.

I really believe this will be an asset to the community and breathe a little life into an other uninspiring park.
Our family would definitely use the facility.

Please allow this to happen. Look how it has changed the lives of kids in some communities. Peckham now have multiple chapion riders who other kids now look up to and want to be like.

I am a local resident bordering Norbury Park. Previoisly I have been involved in a similar BMX project in Tottenham (Lordship Loop and the Tottenham Bike Club) as both chair and coach. These projects bring communities together, create healthy outlets for our youth and create a safer environment for all. Please come and support this fantastic initiative.

Great opportunity to continue improving the activities available at Norbury park and provide the local community with a dedicated facility for cycling. Most of all it will provide kids with space to have fun and at the same time exercise, be healthy and develop socially.

give young people something to do rather than put them down all the time. I've lived here for many years and this would bring new life into the boring and dated park, and my kids are looking forward to it!!
