Vince is a chauvinistic pig, he verbally assaulted my wife with a profanity laced tirade

This is a knee jerk reaction. CSD please consult with Marin County Counsel regarding this change in regards to the opening up of liability to our District. This flies in direct opposition to the Professional Ski Association Safety standards as well as The recommendation of professional and legal advised that had set the standards and rules for which we have all been living by without one accident or boating injury.

This item should have been discussed and advertised before such a change was allowed.

Cavalla Cay. Why no outreach and I’m learning through Nextdoor? Not even mentioned in the recent neighbor to neighbor newsletter?

We live in one of the most unique marine communities on the West Coast. It's the reason for living here.

Sounds like a faulty process if none of knew about this before a decision was made.

I am completely against it. I also feel it will affect home prices From a desirability standpoint

I am definitely not in favor of reducing the skiing area in the Sunset Lagoon. As it stands now it is already over restricted in the first place and any more restrictions would make it a very undesirable place for any water activities.

All homers have a right to vote on any major change in our community.

We cannot allow CSD to set a precedent to make rules and decisions that impact the broader community without our inputs and approval.

I attended this meeting and can say that this petition accurately and objectively reflects what happened. While I genuinely do appreciate the time and effort that the board puts in, I believe that some decisions deserve more discussion and broader community involvement. There were only 3 people, including myself, who had the opportunity to offer community input. All three people asked the board not to rush this resolution to a vote. All three asked the board to solicit community input before a decision was made, and to also contact the ski and boating safety expert that has been used in the past to assess the impact of this decision. The 3/2 vote that passed this resolution could have gone either way. I believe it deserves a broader community discussion.

This is the second time this has been tried. The CSD does not have the right to take away an amenity they benefits all residents to accommodate just a few disgruntled homeowners. Legal action and serious expenses will be incurred by the CSD if this proceeds.

I purchased my house in BMK solely for the opportunity to wakeboard with my family whenever I want. What’s next are people going to complain that they didn’t realize when they bought a house on the water that it was going to be so wet.The ski run in the South lagoon has already been shortened once or twice since I’ve lived here. Enough is enough . You knew what you were getting when you bought a home here if you don’t like it then move. Don’t ruin it for everyone else.

Stoping sking in BMK is a step in the wrong direction. -It helps bound our strong boating community with family interaction. -Keeps are place unique. -Maintains are real estate values. -Very few places left that you can have this kind of recreation in your own back yard. Anyone who has bought a home in BMK did so knowing that watersking was always part of it. -

I live on Del Oro Lagoon and a shortened ski run would negatively impact my experience and increase traffic, noise, and risk.

Decisions should not be made in our community without involving the community.
