Now that a child has died, I don't see how TXDOT, the City of Fort Worth and EMISD can ignore this critical issue. We have to value the safety of our children.

A sidewalk should have been put in when the school was built. It has been needed for years!

I agree something needs to be done for the high schoolers to be able to walk home safely if they live toward Blue Mound its very dangerous.

So tragic! I sincerely hope something is done about this road and lack of sidewalks and lights! A life lost that could have be avoided!

I watch children dodge traffic every day on this road (BlueMound). It ridiculas the amount of traffic that flows through the area (Ina 2 lane road), with NO sidewalks, limited lighting, & such a fast speed limit. Blue mound road needs to be fixed asap before another young life is taken due to avoidable circumstances.

The I35 construction has made this a very busy and dangerous corridor for any kind of pedestrian. Safety needs to improve ASAP
