The fact that homosexuals are still banned from donating blood is ridiculous. It was ridiculous as soon as they developed a reliable HIV screening test back in the 1980s, and it continued to be ridiculous once the "AIDS is a gay disease" mentality was stomped out of the public consciousness. Why this homophobic relic still is in place is unfathomable."

Everyone, gay or straight, should have the right to make a different!
So as long as all blood is tested beforehand, I don't care who donates blood.

Please review your policy about whop can and who cannot give Blood. I understand the need for this in the 80's and possibly the first half of the 1990's. It no longer seems to be sound policy though. Thank you.
