Too much traffic and residence already. Our county has done a terrible job keeping Sarasota sacred. It is all about the almighty dollar not the residents of Sarasota County.

This is a very busy intersection that often is blocked because of the existing traffic. Adding even more traffic will make this intersection impossible to navigate for Route 41 and Stickney Point Road.

It is an outrage that a plan like this is even considered. Safety, environment, is there nothing that will stop these people from totally messing up a already overcrowded area.

For those of us voters that live on Siesta Key, the prospect of the Benderson Development project on the corner of Tamiami Trail and Stickney Point coming to fruition is nothing short of a nightmare! Already during season, traffic coming on to the key is congested and backed up on to 41. This is not just inconvenient but, dangerous. Will we stop at nothing to increase development? PLEASE vote NO on this project.

I live on the South end of Siesta Key. Traffic congestion WILL be created by this project and as a voter and homeowner on Siesta Key I ask that you not approve this project or at least, as is. Getting on and off the Key to and from my home will be greatly interferred with. Seriously, does Sarasota really need yet another shopping area to the detriment of residents who have been paying taxes for years!!! Voters will remember who you are!

This development will affect the already traffic congestion coming on and off Siesta Key. The traffic congestion is bad enough with out the Benderson Development. Because of the further congestion caused by this development it will also affect the safety of the residents of Siesta Key. It will also change the original character of Siesta Key. I do not believe Siesta Key was intended to be a commercial dumping ground for big money investors.

Density zoning is for a reason. It should not be changed because of the request of a developer. The developer was aware of the zoning restrictions when they purchased property.

Why have rules?..............if all we are going to do is change the rules whenever developers ask? The answer is............that rules are only for regular people, not big developers.
