Utterly ridiculous. Uncontrolled growth.

It's already practically unnagivable now during the season. I live just south of that intersection and have to avoid going into town at certain times because coming home is a nightmare.

Please do not destroy our quality of living that we have here. We bought property in Sarasota because it’s still a city with a small town feel, and now you want to destroy that. This is the reason we didn’t buy in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Please consider the people before you give in to these large corporations. Sincerely M Di Criscio

The impact of this type of development will place to much traffic and congestion on all area roads.

Too much density and traffic for that area!

adding more traffic congestion at this site, particularly during high season, would be a disaster!

The zoning is clear for that area and if the zoning is changed in order for this to go through it will adversely affect the traffic and congestion already present and Siesta key and already adversely affected by too much building will suffer even more. This commission already has the reputation of being bought by developers and if this goes through they will ALL be held accountable!

Commissioners: Please don't allow this developer to bamboozle you into thinking this is good for the county or adjacent Siesta Key. When built at the proposed density, the resulting traffic issues will haunt you forever. We as property owners/local citizens will have to endure the conjestion forever and will not forget your vote.

The petitioner knew what zoning/use/density was when they bought the parcels and no changes should be allowed

Local ordinances and land use restrictions exist for good reasons. Why would our commissioners allow such great density and not require that the boundary be defined per precedent for this project? There must be very good, demonstrated reasons for these deviations from existing rules.

There was a reason for limiting the zoning in the first place. To increase the density by as much as they are proposing is plain stupid and will be irreversible.

Putting another traffic light on that section of Stickney Point Road is insane!

Please consider the impact on the traffic and community already there. Keep our valuable green space free and use the already cemented areas.

As a person who owns and lives on the south end of Siesta Key, I know how challenging traffic can be! We do NOT need this project to clog up the traffic to get on and off the Key!

This proposed development would be an unmitigated disaster for this ecologically sensitive area near the bay as well as a hazardous traffic nightmare. If any commissioner has the audacity to vote in favor of this they are in the hands of the developer. We will remember come November 2020 and this time we will have single member districts!

We have zoning for a reason. What we have paid for our properties depended in part on the relevant zoning. Zoning should only be changed if the affected property owners agree, and even then should these property owners be reimbursed for the loss of their property's value. And the development that this requested zoning change will allow will definitely reduce the value of our properties.

I am vehemently opposed to this project. As everyone knows, Stickney Pt & Tamiami Tr. intersection is extremely congested, and it is difficult to get on and off the key as it is. In order to alleviate traffic on & off the key, I think another bridge will need to be added if this project is approved.
