Reasonable use, not all you can possibly squeeze out of it! Please don’t permit anything which will worsen congestion at this already too crowded area.

Please don’t permit anything which will worsen congestion at this already too crowded area. We don’t need hotels, more shopping and housing right there. No urban planning/social engineering projects please.

As a ling time resident (38 yrs) I oppose this project. That intersection during beach time and especially during season is a nightmare now, adding this proposed land use will make it deadly.

Don’t let them build. They are ruining Sarasota. UTC is beautiful but a huge congested area that will only get worse as they continue to build!!! Don’t let that happen. Locals want their town to remain livable and not fall to greed!!!!!!

Sarasota does not need any more new development or increased traffic, which this project would obviously bring. Our environment is suffering greatly, and it’s becoming more stressful to live here due to the congestion and the “pav(ing) paradise and put(ting) in a parking lot.” We should be concerned with preserving our unique, precious environment, not creating more buildings and traffic.

The last thing Siesta and Sarasota need is more development. Traffic is a nightmare as it is, we are rapidly destroying the Gulf Coast ecosystems with our mindless expansion and development projects. This plan is absolutely unnecessary and insane. We need fewer projects and more nature.

Besides the roads and the traffic issues... where is all the water coming from for all the increased residential units? This needs to slow way down

I live off one of the side streets of this intersection. This development will make a bigger traffic mess at this intersection.

This needs to be stopped! Traffic is already so congested in the area, we do NOT need this!

The Planning Commission has failed to address the negative impact on significant pedestrian and bicycle safety issues within the 3/4 mile radius, specifically on Mall Dr. and Gulfway Ave. Traffic continues to increase with each new development, and the residential area has huge gaps in sidewalk coverage, four bus stops, no crosswalks, no speed bumps and no noise barriers.

We are facing T2 a multiplier effect of traffic and red tide that will be an ecological death blow to Siesta Key. A better idea create a crowd funding to give developers their money but create an ecological botanical garden that will help save the region and be a tourist delight. I am against rezoning this area. Traffic is already bad enough in this area. It's time to listen to the people and they are against this. What attracted me to Sarasota will be gone if this goes through.

Stop the madness Sarasota! You are creating traffic nightmares and changing what was great about Sarasota. Look at what you did to University and I75. The intersection and Sarasota can't handle this. STOP THE MADNESS NOW!

Please don't forget about the reason most moved to Sarasota especially the area in gulf gate larger lots quiet community. This will change the whole look of the area.
