Block Benderson’s Siesta Promenade Overdevelopment

Say NO to overdevelopment and increased traffic in an already congested and bottleneck area

Time to prove you’re not in Benderson’s pocket

Please stop this craziness!! Henderson needs to be stopped. His projects are too massive, with no consideration to the surrounding community concerns or impact on quality of life for those folks who live in the area. Ann Marie Barrett

The proposed development is far too large for the already heavily congested intersection of 41 and Stickney Point Rd.

Stop overbuilding, as there will be people killed in excessive, congested traffic areas. Dangerous! Spread out the building to less congested areas!

The traffic solutions proposed by Benderson do not address the fact that ALL traffic going to Siesta Key, ultimately, is dumped into only 2 lanes. Suggest Benderson and County put heads together for a plan to 4 lane main roads on the Key. Benderson's proposal is a failure waiting to happen

We live by UTC mall. At first I was pleased about all the shopping near by but at this point, enough! They're squeezing in restaurants and stores in parking lots and any small patch of green space. Parking garage is very limited now and traffic is horrible. The diamond help reduce the flow some but now the quantity of cars and it's not even season! Recently went south and the traffic on Stickney heading to Siesta is terrible. Sarasota as we knew it is gone and getting worse with development!!

Congestion on Stickney Point is already terrible. If this project goes through as proposed, it will be impossible.

The Stickney Point and US 41 intersection is already extremely busy and pretty dangerous. I've lived in Gulf Gate for 3 years and I can't count the number of accidents I've seen right in that area. Benderson should not have the right to immediately go in and start building. There needs to be thorough environmeintal impact and traffic studies that prove no quality of life will be lost for the people who live in that area.

Please stop ruining Sarasota and beautiful Siesta Key with over development.

This over development of an intersection that is already congested needs to be stopped!

Stop the destructive over-development of our fine community.

Emergency vehicles...impossible to get through at times. I have sat through 4 light changed to get through the intersection of 41 and Stickney Point.

This project as proposed gives NO benefit to the community. So why would "we" (yes, the commissioners are to represent OUR interests) grant Benderson the variances they need to proceed?

Unnecessary development...only benefit is too developers and realtors

The negative impact of this huge; both as regards increased vehicular travel at an already gridlocked intersection and quality of life for current residents in the multiple communities near that intersection.

I feel that the growth of Sarasota is not being managed well and needs to slow down. There are plenty of better uses for this land rather than more housing and stores in an already overcrowded area.

Traffic is already terrible on Stickney point.

Benderson has ruined enough of sarasota already. That ridiculous rowing field, (not completed) the mall. There is always a traffic accident at the new "diverging diamond" needed to accommodate over development of that area. stop now!!
