Existing Zoning at time of purchase should stand. If this density does not allow for a good a business venture for the buyers, don't buy. To be allowed to over improve is an injustice to all of the people effected by the increase of density and the hardships it with have on the surrounding neighbors and existing business near by that are gaining nothing from the over development but the time and money loses it will create for us, the local existing community that currently live, transverse and conduct business in the area should not have to pay the burden to allow for good profit margins for a private company.

The proposed development is vastly over-scaled for the limitations of the location. It will be disruptive and potentially dangerous.

The design of this project MUST reflect the needs to the neighboring communities. Ignoring the will of the people will have ramifications that you can not imagine. We the people are able to see clearly. We live here and know best. Building a high intensity development on an already sub-standard draw bridge invites traffic jams as well as danger to motorists and emergency vehicles if they can not get through the masses that already pile up. This already occurs year-round. So, take heed. "Those that know when they have enough are rich."

I lived on Siesta Key for 36 years prior to 2015. Traffic to get on and off the key during tourist season was bad then and has worsened considerably since then. Plus it's in a prime flood zone!

I do not see how any commissioner could vote for this in good conscience with the traffic congestion that is already prevalent there. It is appalling!

Tell the Commissioners that we resent their shoving their agendas down our throats. Tell them that we are not a mob as Hines referred to the Save Beach Road petitioners. We are their constituents and they work for US

It is difficult enough to get on or off the south end of siesta key during season now. It will be impossible if this development is allowed, and dangerous if there .is an emergency

Density not acceptable! The builder will build and leave, we will be stuck with the traffic and overcrowding for the rest of our life! How unfair and short sighted! Do the right thing!

No honest and clear thinking person would ever approve the Promenade project. Even before the "season" there are back ups on Stickney Point Road and at the route 41 stoplight. Why would anyone even approve this. Benderson makes enough profit from all the projects they get allowed to do in Sarasota. How about a compromise: a maximum 4 story hotel spread over a parklike area on this property with a trolley pick up area to take people to Siesta Key and the beach. Any density beyond that is a betrayal to the citizens of this area.

Traffic is bad enough now in that area now. I can barely drive to the beach during prime time
Too many exceptions = more gridlock
