We do not need more retail space and certainly not at this very busy intersection! I've lived here since the 80's and have seen way too much development!!!!!!! ENOUIGH!

Density is too high for this already congested intersection. Traffic backs up now past 41 from the Stickney bridge during season.

This issue is a "NO BRAINER" Benderson knew the parameters when he purchased the land and they should remain the same!!!

There is too much traffic now! We do not need more retail space - nearby malls have empty stores. This will ruin a long established neighborhood.

Benderson is going to "kill the golden goose" with this massive overdevelopment! Why would tourists come to Sarasota when this massive development will make it even harder to get to Siesta Key than it is now! The county commissioners should scale it WAY back in Sarasota's best interests!

I don't have a problem with the development per se, what I do have a problem with is the density and the fact that 400-514 apts and condos just does not fit into the neighborhood for numerous reasons. I would challenge the key Benderson execs to live in the neighborhood for 1-2 months and see if they are aware or not of what their current development plan does to the neighborhood and more.

Is Benderson so greedy that he would hurt a neighborhood and exacerbate the traffic problem, already terrible.

This will destroy the area. How about putting the focus on the red tide situation.

This project should not be permitted to go forward until it complies with current zoning requirements!

The overdevelopment of this intersection will impact all the residents and small businesses in the surrounding areas. Many of us have been here since the 50's. How is it that one developer with deep pockets can move into our neighborhoods and change alter our way of living to this extent. Residents and tourists are not going to be happy waiting hours in line to get to the beach. What sort of impact do you think that will have on our tourist industry.

I live on Midnight Pass Road and fear the traffic would be even MORE horrendous on Stickney Poibt, route 41, and the surrounding neighborhoods if this project was approved. I completely disapprove of the Benderson project on Stickney Point Rd.

This project will be disastrous for the 41/Stickney Point corridors. Traffic will be impossible. Common sense tells bright people NOT TO GO THROUGH WITH THIS CONSTRUCTION. Over building for the area—period.

It’s time to step up to slow down Benderson’s Siesta Promenade.
