Residents on and in neighborhood of Baywood drive have only 2 exits, 41 and Baywood with only a right turn or South 41 exit and the one in question the Stickney Pt Rd and Avenue A exit . The latter exit is already a dangerous and extremely busy intersection, especially during the fall throughout the winter season and March and April. We cannot add any extra traffic without causing major traffic delays and accidents. Add to this that this is the south Siesta Key bridge exit and you add a third major traffic problem with cars being stuck on the 41 and Stickney Point Rd intersection. We have lived here since 1987 and traffic gets more congested every year without adding major residential homes/condos and hotel rooms and businesses. This is an obstruction of traffic flow all in the name of Profits for Benderson regardless of the horrific traffic outcome and safety for the residents North and South and West and I might add East of this planned development by Benderson.

The density and traffic issues this project would eaten are not sustainable for our community. Please do not accept the current Benderson plan.

Please ensure that development of the land located at the Stickney Point/US 41 intersection is done in a compatible manner with the surrounding residential neighborhoods and retail establishments. It should not be detrimental to our quality of life, health, safety and welfare, nor cause undue hardship for anyone wishing to access Siesta Key and the beach.

I don’t know if it will really make a difference. The commissioners keep wanting to pad their pockets. However, I will be there!

The proposed density is outrageous for this very busy area. The current flow of traffic does not need to be slowed by additional stop lights. 4-5 months a year and most weekends, the traffic is backed up on Stickney Rd, from Hwy. 41 to Siesta Drive.

I object to the congestion experienced now at this intersection. The roadway will not allow increased usage. Siesta Key is overbooked.

I would hope that Sarasota County would require an in depth study of current the traffic situation at the intersection of stickney point and 41 during peak season and beach going hours as it is already beyond capacity. To add any more congestion to what is already would be detrimental.

Please do not add to the overbuilding of the Siesta Key area. We already can hardly get to the beach with all the traffic. In addition it is not environmentally sound

Are you people all brain dead.??? Much more traffic at the intersection of Stickney Point and 41? It's impossible now for at least 5 months out of the year. why must we all suffer because of Benderson? Is he paying you to approve of his terrible plan??

County sign already warns of fines for blocking 41/Stickey Pt Rd due to backed-up traffic. Stop the madness. Save our neighborhoods.

We can not support additional traffic as it would lead to more injuries and delays. Its stupid!

I have lived in this area for almost 30 years. In season, it already takes up to three cycles of traffic lights to travel from north to south on US 41 through the Stickney Pt intersection.

What another catastrophe looming over an area that will not be able to tolerate the impact on the surrounding area. Surely there is a better way to utilize the space that would benefit a wider range of the needs of hard working people of the community. Alternative affordable housing communities like they have in other parts of the world, utizing alternate energy sources; such as solar, etc. It would be so cool if Benderson would be front runner leading in that direction.
