There is no way a development ass described can avoid heavy impact on Siesta Key traffic and the surrounding neighborhoods, not to mention the south Trail in general. For the county to change the zoning in favor of a developer in this case is absurd. I would like to know how much money each of the commissioners accepted as campaign donations from the developer or a developer-centric PAC.

This project is a non-starter with all the congestion it will cause especially in an intersection that is already way overcrowded. Plus the area does not need any more retail space or expensive condos! This is ridiculous! Totally absurd especially with excess capacity in the retail and residential dwelling area! It is a project that will negatively affect South Sarasota and severely impact the quality of life in nearby communities. Say no to “Siesta Promenade” Thanks much, Jim Donovan Resident of Landings

That area can NOT handle the increases even with reduction that has been made.

This proposal makes no sense and will damage all of us in the community.

PLEASE - reasonable use but not hightest use. We cannot afford to increase traffic at this intersection.

Henderson development should spend Jan' Feb. Mar. and part of April on Siesta Key to realize what a bizarre idea this is. Lots of homes on the Key will be for sale. what a shame.

The last thing we need in Sarasota are more apt. units and a hotel, especially at this intersection. Enough already.

I wish that benderson would leave that corner ALONE and -ruin some other area that's not completely already over grown. Just ridiculous to think of building ANYTHING on that site let alone go over the CAP that was put on decades ago before they even knew how explosive they've made on siesta and gulf gate. How are we supposed to get threw there? Stop this out of control growth you greedy, feathering your own nest parasites .

Benderson’s proposed high density development would paralyze an area that is already choked with congestion.

Already congested enough. Do not need more development here.

Enough already!! Benderson has paved enough of our paradise and this intersection cannot withstand the major traffic impact this plan will create

I strongly completely object to the Benderson proposal to develop at Siesta Promenade, Stickney Pt and 41.

Commissioners must recognize the proposed density increase would make that intersection a nightmare for all drivers and the proposed building heights would be entirely incompatible with the surrounding community. There is NO justification to grant that change. It would NEVER be called "progress".

This must not be allowed.

I think retail only should be permitted.
