Block Benderson’s Siesta Promenade Overdevelopment

This is not a proposal that supports our quality of life as a community.

Concur that the traffic situation as it exists now is one of gridlock in high season. This development would likely make the situation worse--with detrimental economic and environmental effects.

I am opposed to this development!

Please stop this development, it will add a huge amount of traffic to what is already a traffic nightmare.

Stop the Promenade!

The building density and traffic is overwhelming now, this is a large project,

STOP his venture!!!

Stickney Point Road is already too busy and too dangerous for cars, bikes and pedestrians especially during high season. Siesta Promenade will result in more accidents, more danger for everyone and will make Stickney Point Road into a parking lot with no movement for most of every day. As a permanent resident of Siesta Key this development should not happen as currently proposed and the CAP should be denied.

PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING FOR OUR COMMUNITY

This development if allowed would make living in South Sarasota most undesirable! It is tough enough to go to Siesta Key beach by auto now!!!

I visit Siesta Key several times a year, but if this happens? I'll happily vacation elsewhere. Much of the appeal of Siesta is that it was NOT like this....make it feel like a mini D.C. in commuting traffic and it won't be worth a darn anymore. :( I feel badly for the folks who live there and have to see this possibly happen. There goes a piece of their quality of life on the Key. Boo to this!

There are reasons folks have always visited Sarasota, and as we pave over those very reasons, then who will visit let alone like to live here.

There is nothing "SMALL" about this project. This area would make lovely park as an entrance to Siesta Key.

Have mercy ! This is an impossible intersection as it is and a roundabout won't dimish the NUMBERS ! 'Pretty cagey use of words to help this terrible situation blur the facts, with little regard for motorists. H E L P ! !

Keep in mind next election of local county officials of who supported residents and who supports Benderson Developement. Pretty clear isn't it!

The building heights and density of housing units would overwhelm the neighborhood. It may even cause enough extra traffic that locals would avoid the businesses in the shopping center across the street. Adding another light on Stickney Point Road at the point indicated is likely to cause serious traffic problems because cars would stack up and block US41.

do not want this development built in this area..

Please consider the reality of the congestion in that area.

I purchased a villa on riverbluff parkway and find it utterly amazing that you are calling this development small. The congestion that it will cause will be a nightmare and therefore needs to be reduced in size.

This is way too much for this property!!!
