I don’t think it’s a good idea to add that many apartments & a hotel along with retail space to that area—it’ll create far too much traffic when there’s already too much during peak season. Not every piece of vacant land needs to be developed when it’ll end up abandoned just like all the other empty buildings—put it someplace else!

This proposed development is out of scale for the location. During busy times of the year it will render the south bridge to Siesta Key unusable.

I’m signing this because I’m heavily against them building more, especially in that area where traffic is already horrible! I work right there at splash on that corner and just trying to get to and from my work takes me forever because of all the backed up traffic. We truly don’t need anymore built in this area! We have countless accidents that occur right on that corner where stickney merges onto 41 and now those numbers are going to triple if they start building stuff at that intersection.
