Thoughtful, planned development is fine. Attempting to simply maximize the profit potential for the developer is not. Back to the drawing board for this property, please.

Its too busy of corner to put all this on here ! Traffic is bad enough getting on & off island !! But as usual benderson will buy off commissioners ! Money taljs for builders in srq! Ruining this city!!!!

By going along with what Benderson has proposed for the intersection of Stickney Point Rd and Tamiami Trail will promote a major congestion to an intersection that is already congested during the winter months. And trying to get onto Stickney Point through the Pine Shores area is already another problem. Please consider these problems.

Benderson has a right to develop his property as zoned. He does not have a right to increase heights of buildings or density. The increase in traffic it would generate would be dangerous not only to those who live in the area to everyone who drives or is a passenger in a vehicle who navigates through the intersection of Stickney Pt. and Tamiami Trail. It will be almost impossible to drive to Siesta Key Beach due to the increase of 8,000+ cars this development will generate.

I live at the bridge. I see what happens here everyday on this exact corner. There is no way on Earth this can be good the way it is planned. There is no place for the people or the cars. We cannot exploit the planet for money!!!
