Please build what the property is zoned for.

There is no need for this much sprawl. Already way too much traffic at that intersection

Traffic is already very bad.

Bendersonson should not be permitted to build at this busy, high-traffic intersection.

Too much density in too small space and streets blocked already there in season. I agree to much less development on this site.

Stop this immediately. We are strong and smart and have the means to stop this. Give up now.

This is over usage of property in an already congested intersection. EMT,Firefighters and police will have a dickens of a time getting onto Siesta Key. Benderson needs to again reevaluate their development plan for this corner. And, work with the residents in the neighborhood. All I have heard is lip-service, huge increase from original proposal and slight decrease from the over inflated second proposal.

This project needs. 90% scale back. The developer obviously has not experienced grid lock at this intersection. Adding two additional lanes is a joke.

How about making it into a parking lot and have a shuttle bus to the beach and back!!

The traffic during season is horrible. Anymore would severely impair the quality of life on Siesta Key.

After 30 years living on South Siesta Key, I expect that traffic is a bit challenging during season, but this past year it was horrendous. I constantly had trouble getting to and from my home and the bridge wasn't even up. Traffic studies during off season are not relevant. How about studies done during the day in March? Siesta Promenade should not be given an increase in density. Reasonable use is fair. The quality of residents lives and access to the beach for visitors will impact our community for years to come. Let's not prioritize a developer's profitability.

Please do not approve this project, there is too much traffic in that area now, during the season, and there are too many new buildings being built in the Sarasota area, with no thought to adding parks, trees and grass and other quality of life and health issues. We do not need any more shopping centers, some of them are being closed and /or used for other purposes. The higher buildings are blocking the sun downtown and are changing both the skyline and the small town feeling we love so much. The builders are getting greedy at our expense. Most of those apartment buildings are unfinished and unattractive and may never be filled...
