This project is good for closing way to Siesta Beach. It is bad not only for residents, city will lose guests because tourists/ vacationers come to Sarasota not for shopping. To save businesses (restaurants, hotels, retailers, renters, etc.), please, STOP THIS PROJECT!!!!

Please keep this area of Sarasota in consignment of the current height and atmosphere it retains. THIS AREA of Sarasota is not compatible for their plans...With prayer, we ask for them to keep within the guidelines of the current zone which will compliment not deterrent our Gulf Gate area of Sarasota..

I own property on both, Siesta Key and in Gulf Gate off of Gulf Gate Drive. The traffic in season is already very intense. As a property owner on Siesta Key, use of my highly taxed property is already very difficult to enjoy. Quite disappointing already. Be fair to us property owners and consider our situation. I am from Buffalo, so therefore quite familiar with Benderson projects. He didn't care about residents from Buffalo so I am comfortable to say he won't care about residents from Siesta Key nor Gulf Gate. I'm hoping our Government is.

Sarasota & Manatee Counties seem to give Benderson anything they want - well, it is time to say No. This density is totally inconsistent with the area.

Sarasota needs to stop or at least slow down new development.

As former chairman of a Planning Commision my comment is that this proposal is inconceivable.

This proposal is extreme development in an area this is already struggling to keep up with ever increasing widespread Sarasota development and heavy traffic volume even in off season timeframes. This proposal must be severely scaled back to even be considered.

the entire area in question due to its location desirability, like so many others, is being targeted to exclude those who dreamed of pleasant life though not wealthy in favor of those with wealth. Exclusion, higher taxes, a general take-over we've all seen so many times is scheduled obviously.

If the sprawling Benderson monstrosity and traffic chaos at UTC is any indication, this Stickney project will be a disaster

I am very much against overdevelopment of this site which would adversely affect the surrounding neighborhoods and traffic in our area.

It will cause too much traffic at that intersection and be dangerous.

We have lived in Gulf Gate since 2002. The opposition voiced about the probable impact on surrounding communities and especially the Stickney Point/41 intersection to access the interstate for evacuations and the Key during high census would be major. Please hear us and scale down this project.
