We've lived on Siesta Key close to 40 years. The traffic on/off the Key via Stickney Point Bridge has gotten steadily worse the last few years, and is now gridlock almost all day long, every day, during season. This project will snarl traffic from east of 41 to mid-Key probably year-round. NO to payoffs from a greedy developer to County Commission!

Traffic is already terrible in the neighborhood. Any additional traffic will cause gridlock, especially in the Tourist season.

If you want this built, then think to the future and include overpasses in both directions.

This area is already a nightmare with traffic, more so around holidays, and a positive nightmare during spring break! We don't need a big developer getting preferential treatment to not only make it worse, but to increase the density! NO!

Consider how ridiculous this plan is while, in season, the DOT (I assume) already places a sign board at the Stickney Pt/ 41 intersection warning motorists they will be fined $168 for blocking the intersection!!

There is already so much congestion at this site without adding more. Benderson starts projects without doing sufficient studies. His mini mallbin upstate kingston became vacant within a year and left a blight on the community . Don’t do it here in Sarasota too

It is absolutely ridiculous and unconscionable to approve this development. I live just south of Stickney Pt. and traffic already backs up to Bee Ridge Rd. some days during the season. The infrastructure cannot support the density already.

This overdevelopment of our county in the deep pockets of Benderson MAKES NO SENSE!

I strongly disagree with the proposed development by Benderson Development. Let’s keep Siesta Key’s development minimal so that we can all enjoy this beautiful and charming Key.

As a previous resident from 1972 to 1985 and someone that visits annually, you must be blind to not realize the impact that you will make if you pass this. If you pass it, that means you are more interested in dollars over density.

Benderson should be required to develop this site under existing densities. INcreased density undesr a CAP would make traffic congestion unbearable.
we need to stop this madness once and for all!!!
