The proposed development called Siesta Promenade is grossly out of proportion for the area. The traffic impact will adversely affect the quality of life and the financial base of the homes and existing businesses. Traffic is already having a negative impact. Adding not just more but significantly more traffic will have the adverse effect of increasing revenues for the country which seems to be the driving force behind this proposal.

Massive developments such as this are taking Siesta from quaint to unobtainable. Look at the Rosemary District. Housing problem in our area is huge, but now we have EMPTY million dolllar apartments. Don’t do this to Siesta area. NO

Ive seen two accidents on US 41 in the past two days...the traffic has increased significantly in last few weeks...think back to last winter how congested US 41 was ... now think how awful the traffic will be if this project is approved. Think about the construction period...we all can see what’s going on just a little further south and what impact it’s having on the traffic flow and the angry drivers...I honestly can’t believe Sarasota County will even consider this project.

the traffic congestion and back ups on stickney bridge and overspill onto 41 are very dangerous . Its crazy to make it worse and knowingly so! Come live on siesta during season and see gor yourself.

There is no room for this scale of project at this location. Those of us that live here full time, understand that even the regular seasonal traffic cannot be accommodated anymore without tremendous back-ups on 41, Stickney Pt Rd and across to Clark Rd. When will it end Benderson?
