How much more loss of rain, groundwater and added pollution must we endure before the madness stops??? I am not against development BUT Florida IS fragile; our local economies are based upon not just weather but wildlife and the ability to Use the Beaches!! Developing right up to the bayfront is NOT a good idea, has been shown to increase nutrient pollution, destroy fish nursery areas, and as a consequence kills the golden goose for hundreds of thousands of families whose income is dependent upon tourism and snowbirds.

As a former resident of Siesta Key, I can attest to traffic problems both on and off the island-and this was back in the 80's. Our explosive growth has worsened the situation considerably and will become intolerable with overbuilding. Please consider the long-term consequences!

As a retired County employee from Land Development I have reviewed the proposed plans. Stickney Point & 41 is currently a very dangerous intersection.
This will worsen it badly. The State & or Sarasota County will have to spend millions to try & fix it.
This is over development in which the Comprehensive Plan should over rule.
Elected officials please say NO.
