The residents are against this excessive development. Why isn't the planning commission listening? Someone needs to hold them accountable.

Too much density for this area.

Siesta Promenade, as proposed, would be an absolute disaster for Siesta Key and south Sarasota, including Gulf Gate area. Already taxed beyond capacity, addition of this project would make a challenging situation even worse.

I am totally against this development. I have lived on Siesta key for 40 years and to add more traffic to the South end is a horrible idea. As it is now I always have to go up the North Bridge to travel South during at least 6 months of the year. Please no more traffic no more inconvenience for those of us who have paid taxes and lived here on the key for such a long time.

As an owner at Marina Del Sol I'm extremely concerned about the additional traffic and congestion this project, as proposed, would generate.

It's just to much for that corner.Benderson could still get a decent return with much lower density.

Stop this development. We will never be able to get on the Key via Stickney Point in January thru April

We request that the commissioners act in the best interests of the community to bring density and height limits of this project into conformance with the compatibility requirements of its location.

I am in total agreement .

Currently, it is very hard for elderly drivers, such as myself, to turn onto Stickney Point from Ave A because of the traffic. With the Promenade adding significantly to that traffic, it will be nearly impossible.

My pet sitting business is adversely affected by seasonal traffic jams getting to and from Siesta Key via the Stickney Point Bridge. Traffic generated by Siesta Promenade will make the wait time so long that the sitters' time is not paid for by what the client is charged for the job.

The daily lives of those who live in this area and Siesta Key will be overwhelmed with traffic that will undermine daily life.

Benderson is all about making money. They don't care what it means to the people that live here. It is insane to add to a traffic problem that we already have.

People could of been living in those affordable mobile homes for years. We need affordable/low income housing! Not more shops!

I am totally against the Benderson Siesta Promenade development. The traffic comes to a standstill without this development, I could not imagine how traffic would flow. You will have a lot of angry people!

I cannot convey strongly enough how this development will impact the well being of all living in the vicinity. There have been COUNTLESS times where I have already had a hard time getting OFF the Key, let alone, ON during season and even the 4th of July. I lived through bridge-gate in NYC, ambulances could not get over the GW Bridge and lives were in jeopardy. I beg you to build a parking garage to accommodate beach-goers wherein the beach trolley can pick up and drop off. Not only will this help alleviate traffic ON the key, but it will help alleviate traffic on the bridge. Your retailers, hotel guests and restaurant tenants will THANK YOU, as will I. Subsidize the garage and/or the trolley. Strike a deal with the city.
