My family has a strong history of cancer. I don't need anything else to increase my chances.

Not the right location for an asphalt plant. Will drive housing market down.

It seems too populated an area to put that kind of plant in.

I am opposed to them building an asphalt plant off Weddington Road, They should go to an isolated area that would not affect so many people.

Not the right location for such a facility.

We already have the race tracks to contend with, please don't make us smell asphalt as well. Not to mention, all the unknown side effects on our health. There must be somewhere else they can build.

There are hundreds of people that live in Riverwalk and every single one of them will be negatively impacted by this plant. On top of that, there are Carl A Furr Elementary children that will be subjected to the fumes. Martin Marietta is a business focused on money... We are a community focused on family and quality of life. Please do not let this happen!

This plant should not be built near homes or schools. Protect the children and families from toxic pollution and ground contamination

The 700 + children at Furr elementary should not have to worry about breathing fumes from an asphalt plant.

This would cause harmful pollution in the area in which my 1yr old nephew lives and grows up in.

This would be a total disgrace if this plant is allowed to be so close to homes as well as a school.

We all knew the quarry was here when we bought our house. There was also a airport, NASCAR race track, and a trucking depot (now Wal-Mart trucking). Is an asphalt plant really going to devalue our property more??? Doubtful

I am currently in the hospital with a serious lung condition I feel my health would be further comprimized by this asphalt plant so near to my home---I am very much against them building this near me or any populated area there is plenty of open space in cabarrus county build it away from people
