Will create dangerous traffic for a residential rural area. Traffic count is already to high on weddington road. Road was not designed for heavy trucks and high traffic. The condition of the road is extremely poor

This should not occur so close to schools.

As an early childhood teacher, at nearby Carl A Furr Elementary, I have many concerns with this asphalt plant being built next door. They can share "data" on how safe and nontoxic the air will be, but it only takes one thing to go wrong before that can change. We are already dealing with blasting next door. As well as testing for the drag strip and the race track. Please find another place for this plant. Thank you!!

Take the plant far away from neighborhood environment for the sake of our health.

An asphalt plant does not belong so close to an elementary school and residential neighborhood. Martin Marietta has plenty of other available commercial / industrial locations in Cabarrus County. We do not want this asphalt plant on Weddington Rd. in Concord!

Please keep the interest of the Concord residents in mind when reviewing Martin Marietta' application to build an asphalt plant. Before you vote, ask yourself what your response would be if you or you children or grandchildren lived in Riverwalk or another neighborhood close to the site. If you honestly ask yourself that question, I believe I know what your answer would be. Thank you

Hi, my concern about this future plant is that its going to bring a lot of hazardous material to our neighborhood and we are extremely worried since its going to be located in our backyard

I'm resident at riverwalk and my backyard faces the future asphalt plant and I concern about the consequences of this plant for my family and the environment. Thanks Gloria

This asphalt plant should not be allowed to be built here. It will have a dangerous negative health impact on all who live in the area. I vote a resounding 'NO' to this!

Seriously?

With the green-way being built along Rocky River I can not see how an asphalt plant would do any good for the tourism or anything positive for the area. These plants stick around for a long time. I am against it.
