Too close to family neighborhoods and schools. Could drastically hurt home values!!

You don't build ashphalt plants or any other hazardous/obnoxious smells near homes. Don't ruin the quality of life for all of the residents!

One asphalt plant in the area is enough!

Not only the air pollution from this plant would cause local property prices to fall, but just imagine all the heavy trucks travelling the local roads! NOT a good idea. Hope the city of Concord and Cabarrus County leaders put the kibosh on this ASAP!!!

Stop this type of industrial pollution (asphalt plant) next door to subdivisions and hotels. Who in the right mind would allow this? thank you

I work near a asphalt plant and when they started production in 2007 it caused issues with the intake of our plant to produce pure O2 and N2 Air Gas. TAW

I feel the cost helped their decision for this location! They should shop for an industrial park or acreage FAR from residences inside city limits and maybe in the countryside!!!

I can understand why Martin Marietta wants to locate here (right in the center of our business hub). However I would be very disappointed if the City of Concord would approve this. Traffic congestion in the busiest intersection in Concord, 1/2 mile from the Mall, and who would want to stay in the 7 new Hotels adjacent to this plant. Combine that with our schools in the region and the general population of this area. I just replaced my windshield due to dump trucks running on Weddington Road. Fill in the quarry and build an amusement park for kids.

this is too close to homes and school, this plant needs to be in a location where homes and businesses are not near.

NO ASPHALT PLANT. This will cause traffic hazards, Loss of values to homes that already lost plenty when the market crashed. We dont need more chemicals in the air so close to where children grow up and go to school - Put this plant some where else - this is NOT an INDUSTRIAL area.
