We don't need any more smells pollution and dirt in the air in this neighborhood. Can't park or put outside anything you don't want to get dirty or dusty, because of all the dust and dirt created by the trucking company not counting all of the noise.

Don't need the toxic air pollutants so close to our neighborhood.. With all the land available you choose a location near a school and a neighborhood. Ridiculous.

There are already way too many trucks in this area from the excavation taking place next to my child's daycare, King's Keep, and you also must consider the children that will play outside during recess at Furr Elementary.

As a neighborhood, we already deal with things close by like the Speedway. Most of these were there before the neighborhood existed and as a home owner, I knew that going in and could cope. This however does not exist yet and would be much closer than anything else and will have a much worse impact. Find somewhere else to put this plant.

In general, the areas surrounding this development and other close proximity residential communities needs to be left alone, for the kids, for the environment.

No one has answered why they this very plan shut down their operation in SC and now wants to move to Concord?
While Martin Marietta has stated this will add one extra truck exiting the plant e very 15 minute; no one has address how many tanker trucks laden with bulk bitumen or semi-solid petroleum the binding agent, will be entering the plant. The ratio is probably two for one leaving . Home owner in Riverwalk!

Dear City Council Members:
Please ask yourselves this question. What would be your vote on the proposed asphalt plant on Weddington Road if you, your children or your grandchildren lived in Riverwalk or attended Carl Furr Elementary School.
Thank you for voting for us the way you would vote for yourselves.
