Well done it's about time the council decided to move forward in this town they are killing it because they won't let anything new come into the town,(rant over sorry about that)

I feel there is a need for this fantastic idea and do not see any harm it may cause

This project should be given a try to say the least. There can only but be positive results to the community of Blandford. This is not a permanent construction and at least give an opportunity to both residents and visitors for creativity and a positive experience. If you don’t try you won’t know the potential positive results. So at least give it a try.

I would like to see this run down area which can be used currently used for antisocial behaviour turned into an art hub which many stakeholders within the community can benefit from. Young to aging. A welcomed addition to the area.

I cannot see a reason not to allow this to go ahead. Surely there isn’t a downside - if all goes as planned Blandford and it’s people benefit. If for any reason it doesn’t take off, the sheds will removed and land will return as it was....

I believe this project will benefit the town and its residents greatly.

Such a good idea, Blandford is full of arty people, and a good use of unwanted space!

Low impact for good positive gain. A great community initiative on a current wasteland.

This piece of land has always been messy and unkeot. Surely using it is a better idea

All efforts to bring more art, culture and interesting activities to our lovely community should be supported.

You do an exceptional job of organising the Arts Festival each year and I have no doubt your workshops in this central hub will be amazing! Convenient location and your artists impression of what the sheds will eventually look like is impressive and would certainly enhance the area!

I wondered at the lack of progress on the Art Sheds, now learn it is planning hold-up. This area has needed use for years and is held up for the boundary wall of one neighbouring property? I don't know if I would use it personally but I have a load of arts & crafts materials I would happily donate.

Great idea and project, eapecially as it can be removed very easily if it does not work. It’s a no brainier.

I only see a posative impact on community from this producer being supported. There is nothing visually negative about the studio. It’s the first time since 2007 that the location is looking like a soulless wasteland. Blandford is crying out for something like this. The town needs to grab opportunities that make it more attractive to visit and in live in. The town is getting a reputation for being backward because it won’t embrace change and new idea’s.

As a former resident and regular visitor to Blandford I think this would be a welcome addition to the town

In my opinion a brilliant idea, to be commended. It should prove a great asset to the town.

There is a DEFINATE need for a central place where art can be made, discussed, and learnt from in Blandford what do people imagine the appreciation and practice of creativity can do by way of harm to society. WITHOUT ART YOU HAVE NO SOCIETY!!
