Until the present owner cleared the garden it was not 'amenity land' but a tip. The sheds and workshops will make this a real amenity. Planners, please exercise common sense!

Art promotes and maintains good mental health. This project is extremely valuable and should be encouraged to thrive.

Yes much of Blandford is a conservation area but so are many towns and they still find a way to be progressive rather than rejecting everything new. There needs to be some flexibility or Blandford town centre will become a ghost town.

This is an unused and unloved space that could provide education and activities to people. It's temporary as in the original situation could be easily restored at any time. It will boost trade to other business. Many new build developments are getting the green light and more people puts more pressure on the towns amenities. This scheme puts something back in. I can't understand what justification there would be not to proceed.

I support this project and cannot see how it can be detrimental to an area which has been unused and uncared-for for years.

Good luck, I see no reason why it shouldn’t be a very positive addition to the town, unlike many of the developments which have been permitted by the council.

Blandford is lacking in creative space and this would be a great asset

This sounds like a good idea and I can’t see it doing any harm and if it going to help the town of Blandford then why not

Good luck. Everyone has to start somewhere and Blandford has very little in the way of art provision at the moment. I am fully behind this project.
