Please please please find funding for Berwind lake in McDowell county. My patents were born and raised there and although my parents moved north for the auto industry, my grandparents remained and we visited all the time having family picnics and swimming at the pool along with my brothers fishing with their friends. It is a jem that I visit everytime I visit. West Virginia so I know it must be a treasure to area residents.

Dont take the only the thing kids & adults have. They're isnt much left in Mcdowell. So dont take something else away

We have nothing else for the kids on this side of the county we need to keep this lake open and all the activities that come along with it. I will not give Panther park a dime of my money I will not be going there for anything it is over a hour away. I can go to Virginia a lot easier and give them my money

This is a place for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. Taking a part of it away is a travesty.

My family loves this place. I love this place. I grew up with friends at the pool. My family loves camping. My kids love having their birthday parties at the lake. Why take the very few things that we do have around here for our youth to do. Closing the pool and camping areas will only give them less to look forward to and more chances for them to turn to drugs or alcohol for fun.

Berwind lake means a lot to my kids and a lot of my friends. There has been so much taken away in the war area, why take away something else? You're leaving the kids with nothing. They will have no hope for anything anymore because everything they've known is being ripped away.

This lake does great for our lil community.this is really the only thing left down here for teens and kids to. With this gone.I feel as tho our overdose rating and drug use will go sky high after this park is closed,
