We need Berwind Lake !!! McDowell County has lost so much already!!

This is a shame!! Why take the BEST thing our town has?!?!

I think it is of great importance for Berwind Lake to maintain its status due to the fact that the people need this wonderful and rare recreational area!!!

Berwind Lake is the main recreational facility in the area. To lose this would be a tragedy for the residents.

Please reconsider the decision in changes proposed at Berwind Lake. The people of McDowell County depend on this place as a major source of recreation.

Please don't take this wonderful "jewel" away from our much depressed McDowell County. We have always been the "forgotten" county in West Virginia. Please, Please! don't take this away from the many people who enjoy it. Thank you. God Bless America.

We don't have much. Makes sense to take care of what we have. It's a nice place, and should remain that way. It has become a hub of the area.

I'm raising five grandchildren ,my friends and I depend on the Berwind lake for swimming, family picnics, fishing,there's no where else to go and besides that I was married there in 1977.A very special and needed place for our community,

Please keep it fully open. It is a great place for families and friends to spend time together and make everlasting memories. It is much needed in a rural area with very little recreational activities to offer people.

During the years that I worked in McDowell County schools, the children mentioned Berwind Lake very often. They were proud of it and spoke of it with such enthusiasm that I made the trip to the lake to see what they were so excited about. Please don't take this from the future generations and those that are nostalgic about "their Berwind Lake". Surely, there is a way!

Keep berwind lake open its beautiful.. We need something to go to when we visit home..

Please do whatever you can to keep Berwind Lake open.

Please do not take one of the only things McDowell county has left! Our county and people need this desperately. It was a wonderful place when I was growing up in Berwind and continues to be so today!

Keep this beautiful place as is! Don't mess with gods nature!

It is one place in our community that is great for family gatherings, school functions, and just a nice time. Please save the lake!
