Berwind Lake is such an important vital part of the community. It needs to be maintained.

Please try to salvage the money to save there attractions. We have lost too much of our wild and wonderful as is.

I have years of wonderful memories of Berwind Lake. I have since moved away, but come back from time to visit my old stomping grounds. Berwind Lake should never be closed......never! It's an asset to McDowell county!

Listen there not a lot left in McDowell Co. that is good and for the people of War, Bewind etc. they need this place to keep going. I was born and raised in War and when I do get to go there one of the first places I go is the Lake.

This lake and it's beauty have been a gift to West Virginia and McDowell country specifically. We are believing in you to keep it thriving so it can be enjoyed by many generations to come. My sisters go there to spend time together and feed the ducks. I grew up swimming at the pool. Don't take anything away from your people who look to you to support us and keep the lake and it's surroundings open to all who want to come and there are many.

We are asking to please perserve Berwind lake for all of us who love n enjoy going there... Some of us have moved but thats one place we love to visit the kids need the pool n the summer an we have used the shelters for church functions and family reunions... Please reconsider an make the funs available thank you

This has been here for ages, and remains as one if the only landmarks to provide memories for people . Its still used to this day for meetings of all such of events. Don't take away what little bit we have left.
