I believe weaves are a terrible message sent to not only black girls and boys but the world. A lot this hair comes from women in Asia that have sacrificed it to their gods! That really creeps me out. Wearing hair sacrified to the rat god in an Indian temple, smh. Come on sisters. We can do better.

I am tired of black women wearing weaves. I used to, but stopped once I entered my 20’s. It’s a disgrace to our creator and ancestors. Black women are always ridiculed for wearing their natural hair. I have family members who were teased for their hair, and the cycle of hate continues, even within our own community. Black women must wear their natural hair which is beautiful and a representation of our race. We can wear our hair in different styles, unlike other nations. They need to listen to Malcom X’s speech where he questioned black women, “Who told you to hate your hair?”
Enough is enough. The hair black women are installing in their own heads come from women of other nations. Many are used as a sacrifice, so you are basically cursing yourselves with demonic presences. I guess that’s why you see black women with weaves fighting and such. Fake hair laying all out in the street and in the side walk.
You ladies are also making the Asians rich, and I don’t care if the hair store is black owned, buying the hair that’s isn’t yours is wrong. How about we sisters donate our hair to other BW with illness. And alopecia comes from over manipulation of the hair, so it can be controlled and prevented.

Keep it natural... as a male it's highly unattractive ... and the worst part is you can always see the edges, how inconsistent the hair is, the contrast from the real hair on skin like side burns and the fake hair on head , gaps etc.. just keep it real.. Men would prefer a short natural hair (which shows confidence) than fake everything

If hair maintenance is the issue, why not get a weave woven in to natural kinky black hair texture - an afro wig. So I don't buy - my natural hair is to difficult to maintain, so I am forced to wear a weave. Is that also the reason you are wearing a blonde weave?

We have some very beautiful woman in our race but I can't get past that weave, it's an instant turn off no matter how pretty her face is and how sexy her body is. I just choose to date other races of woman so I don't have to deal with that discusting, smelly hair hat!
