As African people inside the U.S., we have a responsibility to fight for Black Community Control of the police, economic self-reliance and ultimately, Self-determination. Sign the petition and share widely.
The brutality and murder of Africans and other colonized persons in the U.S. is abhorrent and unacceptable. Black/ African persons have the right to expect not to be harassed, wrongfully jailed, and murdered by police. It is not illegal to be African. Stop criminalizing the Black community. #BlackCommunityControlOfPolice is a necessity at this point.
I endorse the democratic right of black people to control the police in their community.as a white Austrian man. People of ALL colours unite against injustice
In 2015 alone, over 340 people have been killed by police. Officers guilty of murdering unarmed black persons are exonerated or not charged. This is genocide. It must stop.
As a person who has been labeled "white" by this white supremacist system, I stand in solidarity with those calling for Black Community Control of the police. Only when black people are in control of the police will the police stop killings blacks.

Reform is not an option we demand abolishment of the current police model throughout the entire United States and complete control of the right to defend and protect our own communities. We won’t accept anything else and will fight to achieve this! Peace, love and self determination!
