I am a proponent of the neighborhood taking care of itself and its people. I against allowing outside forces to continue to dictate what happens in our neighborhoods and even more against the people of the neighborhood allowing outside forces to effect these changes on them

This looks like a sound proposal, and it would really be great to have a smaller venue for smaller projects; this would add a vibrant place for new possibilities in local theatre. Great idea!

I grew up in the strand theater. I went to bird street as well and we were always allowed to host functions here. I miss seeing the bright lights on coming down Columbia road. Saw uptown performed here, did a fashion show here. Please listen to this young mans voice and vision.
