I would love for the strand theater to get a black box theater and be uplifted in the Uphams Corner neighborhood of Dorchester before gentrification sets in.

I'm an artist and Real Estate Broker in Boston and Tory is right! Once the area has been "turned over", the theatre will be developed and utilized. This is wrong! Develop the theatre now, into a place that the community can utilize now!
