As a local theatre producer of small shows and lighting designer, I think Boston needs all the black box theatres it can get. Please help us bring this gem of a space into the modern theatre world where it can be appreciated!

Uphams Corner is so ignored by the city. The Strand is this AMAZING theater that could be the key to reinvigorating the Corner. I live up the street and am invested in this neighborhood! Please listen city if Boston!!!

Oh please do this. I would love to see shows there in a nice intimate space. If the price was right I'd even consider producing in this space, or renting rooms for rehearsal purposes. Please please please do this.

I grew up in Boston and attended the Strand Theater frequently, I truly believe this is a great opportunity for local artist to display their talents while making good use of this historical building. Keep the strand theater open.
