I've worked the Strand, and I see no reason why you couldn't put in a small Black Box, a larger black box, a gallery for visual arts, and still have 1,500 seats in the main theatre. This Troy fellow has the right idea!

Love the Strand...remember it as a child, and I hate to see it go to waste. Would love to see this black box concept! I commend you!

Doing my own part with neighbors and Uphams Corner Main Streets to garner new interest in our beloved gem, The Strand Theater. Best of luck to all fans of the Strand.

City of Boston: this is a great idea! We've seen so many attempts at revitaluzing the Strand. It needs real investment from the city and real input/control from the community.

I support the petition for the black box, I also support the amazing drive and ambition to accomplish a goal for the better for others!

I think this young man has a great idea and that his plans can bring money into the community. Instead of having a vacant building.
