I am a local theatre professional and couldn't not agree more with the need for small afforadable performances spaces. Especially ones that work *with* the communities that are already there instead of pushing them out.

As a Boston based theater producer (and General Manager of Laugh Boston &a Improv Asylum) I can say with confidence that this is crucial in developing the arts especially in theater because the arts spaces inititiave only really Keira's for visual and musical arts and site specific theater. This will open up a lot of opportunities for development and community exposure.

As a Boston resident, please mov forward with utilizing the spaces that are available for art and performance. Boston needs art space in all neighborhoods.
