We
the undersigned being residents of North Glasgow or East Dunbartonshire support
the idea of the Bishopbriggs Media Centre, the home of Cue and Review – “Print
Speaking to the Blind”, receiving funding to enable it to become a community
radio station for the people of north Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. We recognise that the primary function of the
studios will remain the talking newspapers for the blind produced by the charity
but look forward to an even wider cross section of the community being involved
in the Bishopbriggs Media Centre. (I am aware that by signing this I am giving
permission for Cue and Review Recording Service to contact me about progress)
I really thought this might just stay a quiet project but seeing the momentum build makes me realize how much people actually want a local station to talk to each other. It is wild to think about what this media center could actually look like when we finally get the space open and humming with life because the interest has been truly overwhelming lately.

What a shame if this doesnt happen. They do such important work for people who cant see the news papers themselves. Keep it going!

About time we had a proper local radio station. Sick of hearing the same stuff on the big stations all day.

This would be a brilliant asset for the local area. Been hearing about the good work they do for ages.
