Jesus would never have abandoned one of his faithful servants nor sacrifice a faithful servant just to save the reputation of His Church. Please return our innocent priest to our parish. “ For his eyes are upon the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.”

False accusations diminish the seriousness of actual crimes. Please do the right thing by Fr. Escalante, his family, parish, and community, as well as the Catholic Church.

The Arlington Diocese has written the book on how to destroy a successful growing Parish. SFDS has been a haven of faith, love and positivity under the watch of Fr. Escalante. His perfect mix traditional Catholic values for the adults and a willingness to meet & understand young people so they will receive God’s love, has caused this to be the only growing, young Parish I have been a part of since the 1970’s. Without proper investigation and without a proven cause the Diocese has attempted to destroy a true man of God. The only way to rectify this is to restore him here, at SFDS, where he belongs. Fr. Escalante’s whole being is in the fabric and the soul of this church and to heal his church needs him.

I am a survivor of abuse, and to utilize abuse as a means to harm another is heartbreaking. It muddies the ability for true victims to confidently speak out. It creates false doubt and harm. A through investigation should be undertaken and all evidence, statements, and findings should be carefully weighed.

With all the corruption in the Catholic Church it would be a win to stand behind a man who did the right thing. Bring him back or the path to hell will be paved with your inaction. We all know who knows the way. Think about it.

Return Father Escalante to our church. He has been wrongly persecuted. It’s time for the Diocese of Arlington to admit their mistake, publicly apologize and return him to our parish. He is innocent.

Please do not let the devil win. Allow Fr. Escalante to come back as the pastor to our parish immediately. He has done more for the parish and the community than any other priest I have ever known. He cares about the parishioners and is a part of all their lives. Truly an awesome shepherd.
