While I am not a parishioner of Saint Francis de Sales Parish, it breaks my heart to see such a faithful and holy priest punished for things he did not even do. I have family that are parishioners of St. Francis de Sales and have attend mass, confession, and events at the parish many times. I even had the pleasure of serving mass for Fr. Escalante on a few occasions and can attest to him strong moral character. In Fact, form many years I wanted to be a priest and was considering the Diocese of Arlington Virginia. Fr. Escalante was a great example of how a priest should live and treat his parishioners. I pray that he may be return to the parishioners that he serves so well and that the damage that has been done to his name may be fixed. I call upon Bishop Burbidge and the Diocese of Arlington to clean up this mess that was wrongfully created and restore this Man of God to his former position. “There is no denying that there is evil in this world but the light will always conquer the darkness.”

Father Escalante is one of the nicest, sweetest, happiest, and most passionate priests I have ever met and we all truly miss his presence. Father Escalante always has a smile and a good heart every time he is at church or at a church event or anywhere he goes. You can literally feel the power of God resonate off of him. He has made this church what it is today and has put countless time and effort into helping the church and the parish. He is our priest and we won’t have it any other way. He has made me and many many many others closer to God and better people/ Catholics. I truly can say that he has made a huge impact in my life. Father Escalante belongs at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church this is and always will be his home.

The Diocese must go along the lines of this striking note from Dr Martin L. King ….“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”.

Please do justice and return Father Escalante to his home Parish at St. Francis de Sales in Purcellville, VA. The facts have been unveiled and clearly indicate the accusers have been coaxed by disgruntled employees to make up these accusations against Father Escalante. Remember, the burden of proof lies on the accuser and you simply don’t have any proof against Father Escalante. Please do the right thing and don’t wrongly make an example out of an innocent man’s reputation. Please return Father Escalante to his Parish at St. Francis de Sales in Purcellville, VA. Thank you very much! Yours in Christ, Pamela Lindo

I have multiple reasons for wanting Father Escalante back at St Francis. Due to limited space and time, I will focus on one that I believe is one of the most important reasons. I believe Father Escalante has been a major influence as to why my sons are as faithful as they are. Not having him back, I suspect, may damage their perceptions of the Church community they rely upon as guidance of their faith.

The media should have seen how deep the water was before everyone jumped in!

Fr. Escalante should return to his Diocese of Arlington, Virginia to his parish as pastor of Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was proven not guilty in every counts and should just out back in his position. We need pastor like him.

The way Fr Escalante has been treated is a disgrace. The bishop of Arlington should be ashamed of the way he has been treated and not been allowed to clear hid good name.

"The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others." Psalm 15: 2-3 Thank you, Fr. Escalante! Bishop Burbidge, please return Fr. Escalante to Saint Francis de Sales Parish.

Father is a staple in our community and at our Parish. It just isn't the same without him and I’ve personally seen attendance go down. My husband and I have been members of the church for over 15 years and have never felt at home like we did and do with Fr. Escalante. He is a dear friend of our family and has been at our home for dinner. Our daughter is getting married in October and we chose this parish because of Fr. so that he can perform the service. My daughter was confirmed at St. Francis and has a connection with the father as well as him performing baptisms on two of my grandchildren. My daughter now lives out of the area but wanted to come back home because of Father. I’m so sorry to say, but the other priests are just not as friendly and connected with the parish people. Additionally, I have been and extraordinary minister for many years. Never, never, under any circumstances his father ever done anything that would lead me to believe that he is going past any boundaries. Thank you so much for your consideration and I continue to pray for you and your team as you make this decision.
