Since Archbishop Nikitas came to our Archdiocese, he has caused many many problems that others fail to see. One prime example is the persecution of the clergy and transferring priests to other parts of the UK leaving a community without a priest.
I wonder if this yank is depriving our churches of money because he needs a lot to spend on his lavish lifestyle.

I have known the bishop Athanasi for 42 years and he has helped so many people in so many different ways.
He is one kind and considerable man that god has ever created in the world.
Who gives Nikita the right to remove the Bishop from our church, who does he think he is God?
The public loves and respects our Bishop so leave him alone, why doesn’t Nikita go back to where he came from, he has caused too many problems.
May god forgive him for the pain he has caused to all of us including the Bishop

Bishop Athanasios has faithfully served our community for many years. He should remain in his position as Community Leader. I oppose his removal from us and from this role.

Bishop Athanasios is central to the Greek and Cypriot community in North London. He has served dutifully and righteously for over 50 years and together with former Archbishop Gregorios developed the Greek Orthodox Church in London and the rest of the country to where it is today. When most other Christian faiths in the UK have declining congregations ours are going from strength to strength. This is because of people like Bishop Athanasios who work tirelessly and thanklessly. In fact sometimes I think we take him and others for granted. I have known him for over 45 years through Greek School, church, marriage christenings and he has even been there to support me without question or doubt in times of trouble when I truly needed support. He is an outstanding clergyman and a wonderful human being. To treat such a man who has given his life to the church in such a manner is truly disgusting , extremely upsetting to the wider Greek and Cypriot community and completely un Christian. It does not set a good example to those the look to the church for leadership, guidance and moral rectitude. In fact I would like to point out that the powers that be should remember to do unto others as you would have done to you.

His eminence Athanasius has always been a key figure in our Community and far beyond.
He has been without doubt someone to support and help people when in difficult times there was no one to speak too.
It would be a great loss for him to be sent else where and hope this action is not take.

Leave our bishop alone we want him to stay
Outrageous way to treat anyone.
They should let him stay
