Agree , school has to open eyes for current situation, cannot pursue profit only since many parents have financial issues and even we will do online for this term for sure. Minimize tuition please. Cannot understand even Government recommended not to raise fee our school still keep raising and Covid became worse than before, please consider current situation ! Life changed alot.

We need to understand contact hours, curriculum to be taught and services. Reduction of this due to covid should be indexed to this. Understand there are basic running costs day to day so it can’t index exactly but it needs to be a reasonable equation.

I agree with the group request for school comsideration and support in term of school fee (Not increasing the fee in 2021-2022, allow fee payment by term without increasing the fee in comparision to payment one time in full, recalculate the fee if learning online as learning quality cannot be compared with offline learning, not using school facility and some other services, teachers present fully during class hour for students' support when needed)

I would also like the tuition due date to be extended, since its very inconvenieng to go to the bank for many parents during CT16 social distancing.

BIS is a great school, but it has taken a strange stance toward the covid 19 situation in regards to treatment of families over fees. A petition like this should not have been needed. From a business standpoint. BIS would be best off offering (x) percent discount to try and increase (x) retention rate. So far, they have failed to recognise this. They need to be looking at the true value of the tuition (which varies on age group) and coming up with realistic fees to provide the correct value for money to clients. A failure to do so will damage reputation and lose long term clients. The objective now is not to make money, but limit the losses. Which has been the case for most businesses during covid 19. Overall schools have been lucky! Try doing business in tourism right now! I hope BIS wakes up and makes a big U turn on its current stance.

The relationship between school and family must be equal. the online learned last year, and the school did not to discuss any words with refunding part of the tuition fee and reduce tuition fee for this year, tuition fees and start dates have not been extended, and online learning will continue as usual. This is completely helpless for a young child, and the parents are also very helpless. If the school’s solution is to increase online class time,I am more worried about the damage to the eyes by adding a lot of screen time without outdoor sports.

I was just shocked to see the email regarding the refunds, which is just tiny amount of total tuition fees. My children in EY campus had had only 0.5-1 hour of online learning everyday. Wednesday was even a “well-being” day, which was study-free day.
