I agree entirely with the comments in the Petition itself. there is a plethora of publications on the Highland clearances, but almost nothing on what happened south of the Central Belt Please go at least some way towards redressing the balance.

There is a clear need to look at land management and movements of people across the whole of Scotland if we are to understand the clearances as a whole.
