It is long overdue that the city of Billings do something to ease traffic problems in the Heights on Governor's Blvd. and Constitution Avenue. This petition is to show the people's desire for change and put it to the City of Billings to remedy the situation.

Please fix this intersection!! We have many students that have to cross here and it is not safe. People are not stopping when the light is red and passing on the right side and putting our children at risk. I hope and pray it gets fixed before someone gets hurt.
With more parents bringing their children to school than when this intersection was built, it is past the time to reconfigure this intersection (and the two on Wicks for Castle Rock Middle School and Skyview High School).
This is such a terrible intersection in the morning. I go the long way to school just to keep away from the congestion. Unfortunately if you are going to Eagle Cliffs, there is no other route to take. It is way past time to figure this out.
Honestly, I’m guilty of almost hitting the crosswalk guard the other day. I was so embarrassed. People are always turning illegally at this intersection. So whatever that can be done to prevent that from happening is something I agree with. Get’er done!!!!
This intersection has been a problem for years and it is only getting worse. When you sit through a light change for 3-5 cycles on a daily basis because those who need to make a left turn cannot find a gap in traffic to do so, there is an imminent problem.
Really need to address this and be pro-active. Rather then have somebody get hurt first then do something..... It's a matter of time and we are pushing it.
speeding, distracted driving (yes, I see the high schoolers texting and driving every day!) and unsafe driving needs to be addressed! It has been overlooked and swept under the rug far too long!

Making at least a center turn lane into castle rock would help. Or create a parking/drop off loop on the west(empty field) with a tunnel walk under the street for kids to go back and forth safely
