Maybe after 20 years of residency when they have contributed to our tax system but not after three.

You have got to be kidding, in this day and age, when all seniors are suffering....I strongly believe that the minimum ten year contributon should be uphold.

This is blatantly unfair to change from 10 years to 3 years! I respect the immigrants to our country but there has to be, as fundamental, investment into the tax base as a contributor. Three years is absurd. In fact it should be extended to 15-20 years.

It should be increased to 20 years in the country.

The ten year residency requirement seems to work. I strongly disagree with bill c428 which changes the 10 year to 3 year residency requirement.
